Systems Engineering and Integration

Altech's systems engineering services address the business and technical needs of both civilian and defense customers in the federal marketplace. We assess and define required functionality early in the development cycle, document these requirements, and proceed with design synthesis and system validation based on our analysis. Our engineers always maintain focus on the ultimate functional requirements of the system while integrating different elements of the project. We have supported test laboratories for the integration of control and operational systems with Commercial-Off-the-Shelf (COTS) equipment and applications. Specifically, our system engineering services include:

On past contracts Altech’s systems engineering services have included supporting engineering and test laboratories consisting of numerous interrelated laboratory stations and test stands that function independently and in conjunction with each other. Upgrade and modernization of laboratory equipment is required to meet current and expanding capabilities. Altech has integrated new equipment for normal replacement, ware and tear items, technology improvements, or laboratory upgrades. Altech understands that technical equipment must work independently and in harmony. For this purpose Altech has developed interfaces and tailored them to support single, multiple, or combination test projects and laboratory tasks. Altech has also tailored control and operational systems with Commercial-off-The Shelf (COTS) equipment for required applications.
