On May 4, 2010, Trowbridge & Trowbridge, LLC (T&T) acquired Altech Services, Inc. (Altech). Through this acquisition, T&T has significantly diversified and expanded its information technology (IT) and telecommunications capabilities and customer base.

“We are very excited about merging our operations,” said Karen Trowbridge, President/CEO and founder of T&T. “This is an important addition to T&T’s business portfolio as we continue to focus on growing the company and expanding our service offering to our customers.”

The acquisition of Altech is expected to increase T&T’s annual revenues to approximately $32 million and the number of employees to nearly 300. It will also expand its ability to provide superior customer support to the U.S. Army, U.S. Air Force, Department of Labor, and other federal clients.

Altech, based in Oklahoma City, has more than 19 years of experience supporting Department of Defense (DOD) IT and telecommunications systems across the country.

T&T, headquartered in Vienna, VA, is a woman-owned and managed small business providing IT, telecommunications, and management consulting services to government agencies such as the National Institutes of Health and the Department of Energy.
